Hi
Cooker hoods are becoming a kitchen fashion item, providing the "WOW!" factor to many new kitchen designs with beautiful spectacular angled glass sections and stainless steel panels.
These cooker hoods have high performance ventilation requirements and selecting the correct size ducting is very important. If you reduce, which is a naughty word, your hood could hunt for air, be noisy and you could be invalidating your warranty with the hood manufacturer.
Always plan your ducting run, try to keep the length to a minimum and the less bends all the better, round ducting does allow the flow of air to be better but sometimes flat channel ducting 204mm x 60mm for 125mm ducting or 180mm x 95mm flat channel for 150mm ducting can come to the rescue.
Have a look at our ducting information page which provides details of the various ducting choices we can offer.
Remember... the correct ducting makes your hood breath more easily.
Sort of an old "Tunes" advert!.......showing my age now!
